CRIPPLED CHILDREN SOCIETY
NUMBER OF CASES NOW 466
Four hundred and sixty-six children are now on the register of the Canterbury and Westland branch of the New Zealand Crippled Children Society. This is an increase of 33 over last year. Porty-six . children no longer crippled were removed from the roll, and 79 new ones added. These figures are given in the annual report of the branch, whicl. reviews in detail the work done for the children. The total of annual subscribers and life members for the year was 875, compare' 5 with 743 last year. The sound financial position of the branch is recorded in the balancesheet. The excess of income over expenditure for the year was £434 18$ 6d, and the accumulated fund stands now at £6788 6s od.
