WOMEN’S SECTION The annual meeting pf the women’s section of the Navy League will- be • held-on Wednesday, May 7, at 2.30 p.m.', In the Builders’ Chambers, Gloucester street west (third floor). —1 FAREWELL PARTY Mr and Mrs H. Taylor, who, after long residence have left Prebbleton to make their home at Hornby, were entertained by members of the, Presbyterian congregation at a social evening. Games, competitions, and musical items were enjoyed. The Rev. G. If. Macrae, On behalf of church members, expressed regret at the departure of Mr and Mrs Taylor, and asked them to accept a crystal salad bowl. Advantage was taken of the occasion to make a presentation to Mrs Taylor from the Mothers’ Union, a crystal vase being presented to her by Mrs H. Prebble.
