OBITUARY
MR W. F. EDMOND (PA) DUNEDIN, April 9. The death occurred to-day, in his Seventy-eighth year, of Mr William Fraser Edmond, until recently manag-ing-director of the well-known firm, John Edmond, Ltd., which was founded by his father. For many years he was vice-consul for Norway, and for his services was awarded the order of St. Olaf, equivalent to a Norwegian knighthood.. , . . ' Mr Edmond had wide business interests, artd occupied positions on the directorate of Several 1 public v ,cotnpanies, including Kempthome, Prosser's New Zealand Drug Company, Ltd., the Standard Insurance Company, and the New Zealand Paper Mills, He was interested iri m any forms of sport; including row-ing-golf, and athletics. He-Ifi’ survived by his wife, .two Sons, arid brie daughter. . " " 5 ' ' ' '
