LOWRY HILLS CORRIEDALES ■v w. /M These sheep are bred on typical North Canterbury danthonia country. The ram lambs are transferred to Ashley Farm after weaning for quicker development. During the last 20 years Lowry Hills ewes have on 10 occasions topped the ewe fairs at Amberley or Culverden. Both ewes and lambs when sold have done extremely well. Ewes from the Lowry Hills stud have for the last three years won the Canterbury A. and P. Society’s Corriedale Wool and Mutton competition—a severe practical test of a dual purpose sheep.
