LABOUR PARTY CANDIDATES
HOSPITAL AND HARBOUR BOARDS The counting of the ballot for the selection of Labour Party candidates for the Christchurch City Council was not completed at a late hour last night. Candidates for the North Canterbury Hospital Board and the Lyttelton Harbour Board have been announced as follows, the names of sitting members being marked with an asterisk; — Harbour Board G. T. Thurston* , T. H. McCombs, M.P.* G. Manning* H. E. Denton. If one of the four selected is unable to accept nomination, T. Martin will be the fourth candidate. Hospital Board Mrs T. Green* Mrs L. E.
