VETERANS’ CLUB ELECTS . OFFICERS
Opening day was fixed for October 3, at the annual meeting of the Veterans' Cricket Club.
The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr A. Watts; president, Mr H. E. Lawrence: vice-presidents, Messrs F. Wedd, Taylor, H. Wilson: captain. Mr W. Randall; vice-captain, Mr T. McClelland; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr E. C Tipping;'committee, Messrs H. E. Lawrence W. Randall, and T. McClelland. . Last season 23 matches were played, of which 10 were won. 11 lost, and two drawn.
