LITTLE RIVER RED CROSS BRANCH At the monthly meeting of the Little River branch of the Red Cross Society Mrs Cradock presided. It was decided that the branch, with the Kaituna and Pigeon Bay branches, hold a shop day in Christchurch on September 20. The Birdlings Flat School Commit* tee held its third cards party in the scrfool on Saturday night for Red Ctoss and school funds. Prizes were won by Miss Joan Barwick and Mr T Smith.
