USE OF CITY ORGAN

■ TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sir,—l am glad Dr. Bradshaw’s letter in the paper this morning has clarified ■ the position about his offer to give recitals for war funds, as it shows ! was correct in the statement made in ray letter on Saturday. It is now nine months since the offer was made, and it is to be hoped that a similar term will not elapse before something is ’ done. A busy man like Dr. Bradshaw deserves the congratulation of # all music-lovers for the lead he has given by his generous offer, which, ff accepted, should substantially benefit the funds. Yours, etc., RT _ CLARK . July 22, 1940.
