MORE INTEREST-FREE LOANS
♦ • (TRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, April 23. A further £2372 acknowledged by the Minister , for Finance (the Hon. W. Nash) to-night, brings the total of in-terest-free loans and donations to war funds to £1,672,029. Through falling of! his bicycle yesterday afternoon, a boy aged nine years, R. Creed, of Waiau, was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital late last night suffering from. a fractured thigh. Kis condition is reported to be satisfactory.
