BOWLING CLUB’S SOCIAL
The Beckenham Bowling Club and the Ladies’- Club held an evening social, at which trophies won during the season were presented. The winners were:—Champions: Singles, Mrs McDonald; pairs, Mesdames Chapman and Neave; rinks, Mesdames Hocking, Legge Neave, and Carrell. Coleby cup: Mesdames Nichols and Reward. Aggregate prizes: Mesdames Nichols and Sweeney and Miss M. Wardlaw. President’s special prize: Mrs Shanahan. Mesdames Chapman and Neave were successful in winning, for the second year in succession, the champion of champions cup. Many, women have discovered how profitable “The Press” want-ads. are.
