OBITUARY
-— ♦ MR JOHN UPRITCHARD The death has occurred of Mr John Upritchard, a pioneer of the Cheviot district, Mr Upritchard was born in County Down, Ireland, in 1859, and canu to New Zealand with his parents at the age of three. Mrs Upritchard died some years ago. The funeral at the Homeview Cemetery was followed by ,a; long proces--sion, and wreaths were sent by the directors and management of the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association. the Cheviot branch of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company, Ltd., and many relatives and friends. .
