ASHBURTON NATIONAL PARTY
* ADDRESS BY CAPTAIN GRIGG, M.P. Addresses were given to about 80 members of the Ashburton branch of the National Party last evening by Captain A. N. Grigg, M.P., Mrs Grigg, and Mr W. Goosman, M.P., Waikato. Mr V. W. Russell presided. At the annual meeting of the branch, which followed, the following officers were elected:—-Chairman, Mr Russell; secretary, Mr W. B. Thomas; committee, Messrs G. A. Gilchrist, J. B. Nicoll, H. Silverwood, E. B. Condell, H. Watts, L. Armstrong, W. Thomas, R. R. Williams, J. P. McLeod, W. McLean, F. A. Coldicott, S. H. Truman, Mesdames V. W. Russell, R. R. Williams, and J. P. McLeod.
