DECEMBER FIGURES Machines of Air Travel (N.Z.), Ltd., were in the air for 320 hours on the South Westland and Nelson services last month. On the former service 380 flights were made with a total flying time of 216 hours, services being maintained on every day of the month. The number of passengers carried was 325, mail totalled 41141b, and freight 23081b. On the Nelson service 166 flights were made, the total flying time being 104 hours. Regularity was 99.8 per cent. Passengers carried numbered 235, and the mail-and freight carried were 764 and Joß2lb respectively.
