' ♦ . PROGRAMME OP ETESSTS IN WELLINGTON The programme ior National Horticultural Week, which will be held, in Wellington, commencing on Tuesday, January 30, has been issued. Mr G. S. Nicoll, secretary of the Royal New Zealand Institute of Horticulture, supplies the following summary of the events:—
Tuesday afternoon—Official opening of national conferences, and National Centennial Mower Show in the Assembly’ Hall,'. Exhibition Building. Evening—Annual conference of Horticultural Seedsmen’s Association of New Zealand (continuing following day). Wednesday—Annual conference of the New Zealand Horticultural Trades’ Association. Continuation of National" Centennial Mower Show. Annual conference of the Association of Directors of Parks and Reserves. Thursday—Annual conference of the Royal New Zealand Institute of Horticulture. Institute’s Banks Lecture, by Professor H. B. Kirk, in Dominion Museum Lecture Hall. Friday— Animal conference of New Zealand Morists’ Telegraphic Exchange,
