WASHINGTON. December 29.
The War Department has ordered the creation of 52 new Army Air Corps squadrons, to be stationed by February 1 in the United States. Puerto Rico, the Canal Zone, Hawaii, and Alaska.
This is one of the largest expansions of the Air Corps in history. The new squadrons will comprise bombardment, pursuit, reconnaissance, and observation units.
