Prospects ■ for centennial tourist traffic from Australia to New Zealand were discussed by Mr~R. Ji Mitchell, a director and Sydney manager of the Australian and Overseas Travel Service Proprietary. Ltd., who, arrived, from Sydney by the Monterey. Many false impressions were gained by hearing the stories of such people; but when they were informed that they could bring as much as they desired, spend what they could, and return with the rest they seemed satisfied. A tribute to the fine advertisement New Zealand had in its Government Tourist Bureau in Australia was paid by Mr Mitchell. He said it was a model of efficiency, capably staffed, and a department of which the Dominion could feel justly proud.
