CONVERSAZIONE
LODGE GATHERING AT METHVEN The annual conversazione of the Methven Lodge No. 51 was held in the Town Hall. The attendance was* a record one> in spite of the fact that snow was falling during the evening. The hall was decorated with greenery and coloured lighting installed for the occasion. Music for dancing was supplied by Cook’s orchestra, extras being played by Pipers Petrie and Selwyn Stewart, and Mrs A. S. Findlay. The master of ceremonies, Bro. A. M. Hart, was assisted by Bro. F. S. McDonald. Songs were sung by Mr Robert Allison (Christchurch), and Mrs A. S. Kennedy was accompanist. , The grand march, in which 117 couples took part, was led by Bro. A. Geddes and Mrs M.
