FREE KINDERGARTEN ASSOCIATION
DENTAL TREATMENT DISCUSSED A letter from the Hon. P. Fraser, Minister for Health, in reply to a letter sent by the Christchurch Free Kindergarten Association, asking if anything could be. done regarding[ dentaltreatment of kindergarten children, was read at a meeting held this week by the committee of the Kindergarten Association. The reply was considered encouraging. , The committee also discussed the collection of photographs of kindergarten activities. for display at the centennial exhibition. . Reports were received from the principal and directors of the eight kindergartens controlled by the association, and the attendances were reported to be fair considering the inclement weather. , , , , „ The secretary was asked to send a letter of thanks and appreciation to Mrs Retallick, who has resigned from the committee. ~ , ~ Mrs H. T. J. Thacker presided at the meeting.
