ELMWOOD CROQUET CLUB
* MEMBERS ENTERTAINED Mrs L. J. Lohrey entertained members of the Elm.wood Croquet Club at a bridge part>> held at her home in Papanui road. The reception rooms were bright with spring flowers. Prizes were won by Mrs Horace Thompson (lucky chair), Mrs Osment (highest score), and Mrs Gordon (lucky number), Mrs Osman (consolation prize). Among those present were Mesdames Hutchinson, Allen, Booth, Carrell, Calvert, Corrick, Fry, Gurnsey, Gordon, Hill, Laban, Lennie. Middleton, Norrie, Oakey, Baxter O’Neill, Osment. Osman, Paulrm, Park, Penman, Paterson, Rogers, Robinson, Adam Smith, Thompson, Vautier, Reid. Caddick, Kensington Penrose, and Miss Nurse.
