REGISTRATION CANCELLED (TRESS A3BOCIXtIOK TELEGRAM;) WELLINGTON. July 2C. The cancellation o£ the registration ol the Otahuhu Chemical Manure Workers’ Industrial Union of Workers is formally announced in a notice contained in to-hight’s Gazette. It is furr ther stated that the Northern Industrial District Chemical Manure Workers’ award, dated October 17, 1938, is deemed to be cancelled upon cancellation of the industrial union named in the notice. FUNDS FOR STRIKERS DECISION OF FEDERATION OF LABOUR (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, July 20. A resolution to spare no effort to raise funds for the help of the Westfield Chemical Workers while they are on strike, was passed at a meeting of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Federation of Labour in the Trades Hall to-night. The meeting did not discuss the union’s decision to ask for deregistration, the secretary stating that this was purely a domestic matter. The branch could not go beyond making the gesture-implied by its resolution.
