ADVOCACY BY NEW ZEALAND DELEGATE
LONDON, July 19. A New Zealander, Mr Sydney Jacobs, advocated at the Empire Chambers of Commerce Congress, the’ establishment of a permanent Imperial Trade Council representative'of Britain, the Dominions, and the colonies. “The Empire’s business is large enough to require a board of directors sitting constantly in London. Although it would not have plenary powers at the beginning, its authority would gradually extend.”
