CANTERBURY AUTO-CYCLE CLUB Fixture July 23—Winter sports run (Lake Rubicon). As conditions should be suitable for ice-skating this week-end, a run will be made to Lake Rubicon on Sunday. A special bus will leaVe Victoria square at 8.30 a.m. Advice has been received from Auckland that the proposed Centennial Grand Prix will be held in January, approximately one week after the New Zealand T.T. A car race, will also be held on the same day, and although arrangements are not yet completed, it is hoped that prize money amounting to £l5O will be available for each event. CORSAIR CLUB Fixtures July 25—“ At home.” August I—Motor. election. August B—Birthdayß—Birthday carnival and celebrations. August 27—Opening motor run. The list of fixtures above is for the second half-season up to the opening motor run, the destination of which will be announced later.
