CITIZENS ENTERTAINED
Christchurch citizens who had celebrated their golden wedding, and those who were grandmothers or grandfathers. were entertained yesterday morning by the management of the State Theatre at a special preview .of “The Nearest Thing to Heaven,” and Walt Disney’s cartoon, “Ferdinand the Bull.” About 200 saw the screening of this film, which will open to-day.
