MUSIC RECITAL TO-DAY
:♦ CANTERBURY COLLEGE HALL A cordial invitation has been extended to all who are interested in music to attend a recital to be given in the Canterbury University College Hall, to-day. The artists will be Miss Louise Croucher (violin). Dr. J.• C. Bradshaw (pianoforte), Mr Charles Clarkson (vocalist). The programme will consist of sonata No. 5, opus 24, in F major, by Beethoven, and the airs, ’’Where’er You Walk” from the opera “Semele,” and “Honour and Arms” from the oratorio “Samson.” The recital will commence at 1.20 p.m. Next Thursday the recital will consist of a gramophone recording of Mozart’s symphony in E flat major, played by the jloyal .sheetra ansi
