CYCLIST INJURED Minor injuries were suffered by Miss Ruth Tod, of Station road, Prcbbleton. when she was knocked from her bicyeP' by a car travelling in the same direction on (lie Springston road, just south of the Prebbleton overhead bridge', about. 7 o’clock last night. She received medical attention and was tak.cn to her home. MAN THROWN FROM HORSE Concussion was suffered oy Richard Pentecost, aped 22, of Shirley. wlv;n lie was thrown from a horse at the Eiccarton racecourse yesterday. He was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital, where his condition last night was reported to be satisfactory.
