SPORTS AT MONICA PARK
A broadsiding and cycling meeting will be held at Monica Park on Saturday evening, and all the best talent will be competing. The principal event, the Great Easter Handicap, has drawn a field of nine dirt-track riders, including such well-known competitors as Jack Forbes, Rewi Dixon, Art Lamport, Norm Neil, C. Saunders, W. Philp, Marty Rush, and Den Blackwell. Special interest will centre in the return match between Jack Forbes and Rewi Dixon. The cycling events promise to be interesting, and there will also be a race for road motorcycles.
