1 CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION INTER-FIRM RACING UNDER CONSIDERATION The Canterbury Rowing Association decided at a meeting last night that Australian crews competing in New Zealand regattas at the time of the centennial should decide whether they would represent their state or club. This decision was made in answer to a request from the New Zealand Rowing Association for an opinion on the matter. • Inter-firm racing as a means of stimulating interest in the sport was considered when a letter from the St. George’s Rowing Club, Auckland, was received. The matter was held over for further consideration.
