STEAMER EXPRESS SERVICE

DAYLIGHT TRIPS TO-MORROW

In addition to the ordinary service, special daylight trips will be run in the steamer express service between Lyttelton and Wellington to-morrow. The Rangatira, which will arrive here from Wellington shortly after 6 a.m., will leave again for Wellington on the arrival of a special steamer train leaving Christchurch at 7.35 a.m. The Wahine will make a daylight trip' from Wellington, arriving at Lyttelton about 5 p.m. to-morrow and sailing again at the usual time to-morrow night for Wellington. . Both vessels will make special Sunday night sailings this Sunday, the Rangatira from Lyttelton and the Wahine from Wellington. SHIPPING NOTES' The American-Filipino steamer Susana arrived in the stream at Lyttelton last evening from Wellington to continue discharge of a cargo of timber from Bunk'rhe Gabriella did not leave Wellington on Monday night as expected and she is now due here to-day to load for AUCKI3 The Wainui is due here to-day from the south to Joad for Napier and Gisborne. The Holmglen is now due here to-mor-row to load for Wellington.
