i ——♦ LABOURER COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE Orsxsa xssociatiob tiligoam.) WELLINGTON, March 15. Holding that he did not have the necessary powers to deal summarily with the case, JVIr J. H. Luxford, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court to-day, ordered that depositions be taken, when Leslie Murray, aged 39, a labourer, was charged with the theft at Grassy Camp, Nelson, on Decemtiar 8. 1929, of £l3, the property of the New Zealand Workers’ Union. Murray was also charged with tha, theft on or about November 30 in the same year of £25, the property of the union. Murray pleaded guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
