MANY ITEMS SHOW DECREASES FIGURES FOR FEBRUARY Board of Trade returns for February show imports at £65,515,000, exports at £38,052,000, and re-exports at £4,772,000. • The principal decreases, compared with February of last year,-are:— Imports—Crain andfiour, £1,784,000; meat, £511,000; dairy produce, £ 1,221,000; iron ore and scrap, £1,137,000; raw cotton, £1,493,000; hides and skins, £529,000; papermaking . materials, £676,000;. rubber, £712,000; iron and steel manufactures,£1,148,000. Exports—Cotton yarns , and manufactures. £509,000;. iron and steel manufactures, £709,000. Main increases are;— Imports—Other food, £711.000. Exports—Vehicles, £2,029,000. COLOMBO TEA SALES DUNEDIN, March 15. Mr L. M. Wright has received the following cabled report on the Colombo tea auction, of March 14;— “Medium and common teas were steady t and fine grades irregular. Prices declined Jd to Jd. The quality of the offerings was good. At next week’s auction 2,750,0001 b are catalogued for sale.”
