SUCCESS OF 0 AMARU RINK CHRISTCHURCH WOMEN’S TOURNAMENT A four from the Phoenix Club, Oamaru, won the rinks section of the Christchurch Women's Bowling Centre’s tournament yesterday. The southern rink, skipped by Mrs Ashton, beat Mrs Campbell's Sydenham rink by 25-15 in the final. The winning rink consisted of Mrs Watts, Miss Symmlngton, Mesdames Adams and Ashton (s), and the runnersup were Mesdames Woolcock, Bradshaw, Kirton, and Campbell (s). Post-sectional play at the Sydenham green yesterday resulted as follows, names of skips only being given:— First Round—Wilson (Timaru) 21, Britton (Sydenham) 4; Reeve (Waimate) 25, McDonald (Beckenham) 3; Richardson (Beckenham) 11, Harrold (Shirley)' 7; Stewart (Roslyn) 13, Logie (Reddifts) 7.
