BRITISH REPRESENTATIVE ON LEAGUE COUNCIL
(BRITISH OrriCUL WIERLRSS.I RUGBY, January 14. The Foreign Secretary (Lord Halifax) will sit on the League of Nations Council on Monday, but at subsequent meetings, Mr R. A. Butler, Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, will represent the United Kingdom. Lord Halifax has appointed Mr Ivo Mallet to be his assistant private secretary (diplomatic) in succession to Mr F. R. Hoye.' Millar, who has been appointed to the British Embassy at Washington.
