SHIPPING NOTES To-day la a holiday on the waterfront, and work will be resumed to-morrow morning. The Kalingo la due here on Tuesday next from Newcastle with coal. She will complete discharge at southern ports. The Waikouaiti is due here on January 10 from Timaru to discharge cargo from Newcastle and Sydney. The Taupata is to load here to-morrow for Nelson. Mapua, and Motueka.

CANBERRA MARU’S PROGRAMME

The O.S.K. Line motor-ship Canberra Maru is due at Wellington on December 23 from Melbourne. From there she will go to Lyttelton February 1-4, Dunedin February 5-6, and Auckland February 9-10. She will sail finally from Auckland on February 10 for Yokohama.
