NEW FOREIGN MINISTER IN RUMANIA
.WELL-KNOWN ANGLOPHILE APPOINTED

In accordance with King Carol’s policy of injecting young blood into the Ministry, -M. Grigore Gafenou, a 46-year-old newspaper editor, has oeMi appointed Foreign Minister. He is a well-known admirer of Britain. Immediately the appointment was announced, he issued a Statement that he intended to preserve Britain’s friendship.
