Although almost all rivers are said to be a little “milky,” the latest reports from anglers in North Otago are that good holiday fishing should be expected during Christmas and New Year. As was reported a few days ago, both the Waitaki and Kakanui rivers are in splendid condition, with good runs of silveries, and the fish rising well to the fly. In the upper part of the district, the Ahuriri and Chau rivers and all other waters are also in good order.
