DEMONSTRATION AT RANGOON
POLICE USE BATONS ON STUDENTS

RANGOON, December 20
The police made a baton charge on students demonstrating before the Government buildings. The demonstration was the first measure of an organised civil disobedience campaign which was to have taken place throughout Burma. One hundred were injured.
