Forecasts from London that the United States will be granted lower wheat rates and free entry for fresh and dried fruits have caused dismay to Canadian fruitgrowers. , Apple growers in the Okanagan district of British Columbia predict a loss of 600,000 dollars a year, Canadian wheatgrowers have already recorded their demand for the retention of preference.
