INCREASES IN FIRST SEVEN MONTHS
JULY FIGURES LESS THAN LAST YEAR
Vital statistics for the Christchurch district for the first seven months of this year show a general increase, compared with the figures for the same period of last year. The totals for July, however, are not as great as those for July last year. Following are details of the statistics, with comparative figures for 1937: First Seven Months 1938 1937. A decrease is reported in all registrations by the Registrar of Births, Marriages, and Deaths.
