THE PRICE OF MILK
TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sir,—An article in your paper giving the views of Mr Harris, manager of United Dairies, gives Canterbury milkproducers food for reflection. He speaks of the producers worrying the Government for more a gallon now that the election is coming near. But why should producers do this? Has not the Government "one price" a gallon throughout New Zealand for school milk? Would you kindly inform me how the price a gallon paid by the Government for milk in Christchurch compares with other centres?— Yours, etc., INTERESTED PRODUCER. | July 27, 1938. .
