Only four members of the team that convincingly beat Australia in the first Rugby test last Saturday played for the All Blacks against Newcastle at the sports ground this afternoon. They were Mitchell, the brilliant centre three-quarter and captain, and the three forwards, George, Milliken. and Bowman. New Zealand won by 39 points to 16, after leading by 21 points to 5 at half-time. New Zealand always had something in hand and won' easily, in spite of plucky tackling by Newcastle and fair success in spoiling tactics.
