PRESENTATION MADE TO LOVELOCK
♦ ■ GIFT OP NEW ZEALAND ATHLETES RECOGNITION OF HONOUR TO DOMINION (Received July 27, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, July 26. The High Commissioner for New Zealand (Mr W. J. Jordan) presented the former Olympic representative, J. E. Lovelock, who is a house physician at St. Mary’s Hospital, with a gold wrist watch, a platinum and gold chain, pearl studs, and medical instruments, the gift of New Zealand athletes. The presentation was made at the May Fair Hotel in the presence of 500 guests. Mr Jordan said the whole Dominion associated itself in recognition of the honour Lovelock had brought to New Zealand.
