FIVE-DAY WEEK FOR CIVIL SERVICE
♦ CHANGE IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA (Received July 27, 5.5 p.m.) PERTH, July 27. The Premier of Western Australia (Mr G. C. Willcock) has announced that the Cabinet has agreed to the adoption of a five-day week for the civil service in Western Australia. The number of hours worked will be the same, 36.
