ARAB STRIKE BEGUN IN JERUSALEM
♦ POLICE FIGHT DISORDERS IN PALESTINE JERUSALEM, July 26. A complete Arab strike has begun in Jerusalem and is spreading to other cities. Marines and police are patrolling the streets of Haifa in lorries. Fire engines are preventing entrance to the Jewish quarter. Traffic is at a standstill.
