♦ COMMONWEALTH FINANCIAL POSITION (Received July 27, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 27. The surplus in the accounts of all the governments in Australia (Commonwealth and state) for the year 1937-38 amounted to £3,515,000. Queensland and Western Australia were the only states that en'ded the year with deficits. 0
