* INDIAN TEAM AT FEILDING HOME SIDE BEATEN BY , TEN GOALS (FEEDS . 4SSOCIAUO* TBLIQKEM.) FEILDING, July 27. Completely outclassed in every department of the game, the Feildlng representative hockey team went down by 10 goals to 0 against the touring Indian team at Feildlng to-day. Heavy rain had fallen all morning, making the ground soft and muddy. This helped to keep the score against Feildlng down. Dazzling stick work and control of the ball by ihe Indians had the Feildlng men definitely beaten time without number, and only the sterling defence of the Fending goalkeper. Whiteman, prevented many more goals. The Indians rapidly adapted themselves to the muddy ground, exploiting the push shot to full advantage In the passing rushes against which the orthodox methods of the Feildlng team were futile. Play was fast throughout with drizzling rain Keeping the ground slippery. The attendance was large, DRAW FOR SCHOOL MATCHES Following is the draw for matches in the schools’ hockey competition at North HagIcy Park on Saturday;— A Grade—lo.ls a.m.: RedchfTs v.
