NEW BRIGHTON LABOUR PARTY
Mr M. W. Rhodes presided over the monthly meeting of the New Brighton branch of the New Zealand Labour Party. The secretary was instructed to write to the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, Minister for Employment, thanking him for his efforts in successfully obtaining bettor conditions for the rotational workers employed by the Public Works Department. It was decided to write to the Christchurch Tramway Board asking that the board remove the date limit restrictions on the 24-ride tickets.
