SPRING FASHIONS

A Paris message says that “Suits are the foundation of every wardrobe—and that means blouses,” for blouses are real fashion news. Fortunately Celia has just received a most intriguing collection in plain and printed silks, pastels in heavy French tailored satins and hand-made organdies, as well as some gay, bright, English tailored washing silks. Nor have Suits ever been more attractive—English' tailored Spring Suits, in finest suitings or pastel wool crepes—and lightweight wool crepe summer coats, with which a printed dress makes an ensemble. There are, too, dresses of all types, for Afternoon, Dinner, and Evening, and the interesting and indispensable Cocktail dress—mostly in black and navy. Altogether, the freshness, newness, and colour of spring itself is charmingly expressed in Celia’s collection, an outstanding feature of which are the changes, subtle Cut definite, which make this season’s spring clothes really different and irresistible.
