MISSING FROM HOTEL

DISAPPEARANCE OF BRIDEGROOM SEARCH BEING MADE AT TIMARU [THE PRESS Special Service.] TIMARU, July 4. Since he left the Empire Hotel on Saturday night, apparently to consult a doctor, nothing has been heard ot Mr Tertius Munro McKinnon, of Kurow, who was married at Oamaru on Tuesday last and was still on his honeymoon. He is the son of Mr A. H. McKinnon, a sheepfarmer of Kurow. Mr McKinnon, after his wedding, left on Saturday for Timaru, and engaged a room at the Empire Hotel. After dinner Mr McKinnon, who had previously had medical attention for a nervous complaint, showed signs of distress, and his wife offered to go with him to consult a doctor. He preferred to go by himself, however, and arranged to meet Mrs McKinnon again later. Leaving the hotel about 8 p.m.. he failed to return, and a search is now being made for him. Aged 26, the missing man is sft llin in height and when he left the hotel was wearing a blue suit with a fine red stripe in it, a slate-grey hat, black shoes, and a light fawn check overcoat with belt. .
