RETIRED BUILDER DIES IN HOSPITAL
INVOLVED IN COLLISION WITH MOTOR-CAR
Admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital on June 20 after a collision between the bicycle he was riding and a motor-ear at the junction of Norman’s road and College avenue, Papanui, Thomas Leslie Flaus, aged 75, a retired builder, of 57 St, Andrew’s square, died at 8,15 on Saturday evening. The inquest was opened yesterday before Mr E. C- Levvey, S.M., and after evidence of identification had been given by Arthur Eustace Bartrum, a nephew of Flaus, it was adjourned sine die. -
