GUILD
The monthly meeting of the sewing guild of St. Bartholomew’s Church, Kaiapoi, took the form of a visitors’ day. A travel talk was given by Mrs A. M. Carpenter, of Fernside. She gave descriptions of the Coronation procession, visits to Switzerland and Holland, and a trip to Sandringham. Souvenirs and views of various places were displayed. He was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital on Tuesday. ■■ '
